Mid-Year Party and Term 2 Break

Dear Parents,

1) Mid-Year Party
Date : 25th August 2023 (Friday)
Time : 8:00am to 11:00am (*early dismissal)
Theme : “Footprints from the Past”
The theme for this Mid-Year party is “Footprints from the Past”. Children can dress up in pre-historic era costumes related to dinosaurs. We encourage originality and creativity in designing the costumes, and we will be awarding the “Best Dressed Award” to two children from each class based on their use of hand-made, environmentally friendly and recyclable materials. This event is not only an opportunity for fun but also a chance for you to bond and work creatively with your child to design a unique costume for the party. We kindly request that you prepare some healthy finger food or snacks to share with their friends. For ease of distribution and hygiene purposes, please pre-cut and pack the food items individually (where possible). Kindly note that we will have an early dismissal and there will be NO After School Programme (ASP) in the afternoon. We plan to take this opportunity for a special “Belated Teacher’s Day Celebration” luncheon with the staff and teachers of TJC. Kindly inform all relevant parties and make the necessary arrangements for this day accordingly.

2) Term 2 Break (1 Week)
Term 2 break will commence 26th August 2023 to 3rd September 2023. Classes will resume on 4th September, 2023.
