Relaxation of mask-wearing policy & Public Holiday notice & Parent-Teachers Meet

Dear Parents,

1) Relaxation of mask-wearing in TJC
Following the World Health Organization’s statement on May 1, which declared that Covid-19 is
no longer a Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC), the Health Ministry has
subsequently eased the guidelines at many public places.

In accordance with the current guidelines, mask-wearing is now optional for all staff, teachers,
and students in TJC. We understand this decision is at the discretion of the parents.

While mask-wearing is optional, we kindly request that you continue to exercise vigilance and
closely monitor your child’s health. If your child is feeling unwell, exhibiting symptoms of illness,
please allow your child to rest at home and return when fully recovered. You may refer to the
Parents Handbook on our policy for handling infectious diseases. It is crucial that we work
together to create a healthy and safe environment for all our staff, teachers and students.

Rest assured that the school will continue to uphold strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
to ensure the safety of our students and staff. Regular sanitization will be carried out and we will
maintain table shields in the classrooms for the time being.

2) Public Holiday on Wednesday, 19th July, 2023
Please be informed that TJC will be closed for Awal Muharram on Wednesday, 19th July, 2023.
Classes will resume on 20th July, 2023.

3) Parent-Teacher’s Meet – Mid-Year Review
Date: 19 August 2023
Time: 8:30am to 12:00 noon (approximately 10-15 minutes per child)
Place: Tadika Juara Cerdik (respective classrooms)

We encourage parents to meet up with our teachers to discuss and get an update on your child’s
progress and development. Kindly note that NO children are allowed to be with their parents
during the meetup.

We would like to have you book your preferred time slots to minimise crowding and wait time.
Please be punctual for your appointment as appointments are arranged back-to-back. Class
teachers will be in touch with you to make the necessary arrangements.
